Designing a retention-focused insurance journey for SBI Life’s policyholders.
Policy cancellations often happen when customers feel overwhelmed or believe they have limited options. We designed a dedicated microsite that speaks to users with clarity and empathy, focusing on education rather than persuasion. The experience uses infographics, simple comparisons, personalised scenarios, and clear financial illustrations to explain the impact of cancelling a policy. It also highlights alternatives such as delaying premiums, reducing instalments, or adjusting coverage. The tone remains transparent, supportive, and reassuring throughout the journey. The UX is structured to help users slow down, understand their choices, and make decisions they feel confident about. The result is a retention-focused experience that respects the user while reinforcing the long-term value of their insurance plan.
